You Are All Our Blessings!

Neil and I wanted to thank everyone that checked out our blog during our 9 day Celebration of Brittney's Life. We were overwhelmed by the messages, e-mails and phone calls we received. It was a cathartic experience for both of us. Some days were tearful, but we felt such peace during our tribute to her.
We know so many friends that are on this journey now. I tell so many of them that it's been 7 years since Brittney passing, and our family still has very tender moments, and it's okay! Our lives are changed forever, but we have reached a peaceful place in our life. It's important to remember that the life you knew has been changed, and you need to be gentle with yourself. One of the Apostles in our church told us that the hole in our hearts will never be filled until we are with Brittney again. He also lost a daughter, so his council to us was a blessing.
Neil and I feel so blessed to have Ryan and Bailey. We have a wonderful new daughter-in-law, Katelyn. We feel so fortunate to have the knowledge that death transcends this life. Neil and I have felt the healing power of a loving Heavenly Father who has been patient and gentle with our family.
Neil and I would like to thank all of our friends and family that have gone down this path with us. We have had people divinely placed in our lives that have woven their golden threads through the tapestry of our life forever. Sunday's do come!
